Everyone, from a practical perspective data consolidation is a "summary" of data from other sheets. NOTICE IN OUR LAB HOW EACH SHEET IS IDENTICAL. This consistency is very important. WHY?
Because when you "group" sheets together you want to be working on the same cell in "Every" worksheet included in the grouping. And I know that at some point in time, and I have done this as well; you will somehow get a row added or some other error and as you work along you are making a real mess of your data.
SO SAVE YOUR WORK BEFORE YOU START!!!!
In fact you may want to create a "backup" file when you save; you do this in the "Save As Options". This will automatically create a backup when you save.
A "Very handy" option.
