if the limit as x approaches 3 from the right goes to positive infinity and the limit as x approaches 3 from the left goes to negative infinity with a vertical asymptote at x=3, then do either the right handed or the left handed limits exist? or do both side of 3 have to go towards either positive infinity or negative infinity for the limit to exist? thanks
